Hello!
My name is Kat, aka "Dungeon" (they/she). I make illustrations, comics, and videos inspired by tabletop games (TTRPGs for short).

I love all things Tabletop - be they personal projects like character commissions, or larger scale ones like creating designs for your products, packaging, or social media. I'm here to cast my spells and bring your magical vision to life! With a varied background in motion graphics, branding, layout, typography, and creative for both print and digital, feel free to look through my portfolio or get in touch and tell me about your project!

I’ve been creating comics since 2018 and selling them in physical form since 2021 online, and at conventions and craft fairs. Dungeon Delves Vol. 1 introduces readers to the relatable shenanigans of playing tabletop games, while Vol. 2 focuses on the Games Master: running sessions, helping the players, and trying not to lose their minds in the process! I'm set to crowdfund my newest book - The Mimic Field Journal - very soon!

As well as comics, you can find an array of prints, stickers and other goodies in my store. I aim for my merch to be eco-friendly, all being produced in the UK where I am based and using compostable plastic wherever possible.

Thank you for stopping by!
My work is bright, fun, and full of curiousity. Ranging from isometric monsters, to epic portraits and cute comics, I love to bring ideas to life with vector illustrations.

My simple commissions are useful for display pictures, discord stickers, or on-stream graphics. Anywhere you need a portrait bigger than an emote, but not detailed enough to warrent a full illustration. You can find more info on these types of commission on my ko-fi page.

Emotes created for Twitch and Discord. You can find more info on these types of commission on my ko-fi page. For stickers or larger images, see simple portraits.

Fully rendered illustrations of various characters, done in my usual vector art style. You can find more info on these types of commission on my ko-fi page.

Because of my love of mimics, I opened up a mimic commission slot where I create custom mimic portraits. You can find more info on these types of commission on my ko-fi page.

One of my more popular types of commissions are my character portraits, ideal for display pics, VTT tokens, or streaming. I try to add details about the characters in their eye relections and their frames, so they feel more alive. You can find more info on these types of commission on my ko-fi page.

In 2018, I started a tumblr blog with the intention of drawing a little something everyday, and picked the topic of TTRPGs as inspiration. That blog turned into comics about tabletop games, and Dungeon Delves were born. From there I gained a modest following across several social media platforms, and created enough comics to make 2 collections: Vol. 1 centered around players, and Vol. 2 focusing on game masters. You can find my comics for sale in my ko-fi shop, or read them on Tapas.

I have made various holding screens, backgrounds, emotes, transitions, vtuber models and on-air graphics for various twitch channels. With my background in broadcast TV, I understand the technical magic behind these graphics and am easily able to visualise what works best for channels to keep audiences engaged.
Here are some examples of stream overlays I have helped produce. From the traditional TTRPG grids, to art streams, to experimental Vtuber environments.

Vtuber TTRPG Stream Overlays
For the Vtuber streams, I illustrated the vtubers, the backgrounds, and even special illustrations to take up full screen at piviotal moments in the story. I then added very basic overlay elements, such as room for subtitles, dice rollers (so the audience always knew what the results were) and plot points for the session so newcomers should see what was happening if they joined the stream late.
I really enjoy making Vtuber models for TTRPG streams, effectively turning them into live cartoons! Here's a break down of the entire stream process for my 2023 Charity Xmas stream.
Here are some of the characters I have made so far:

To test the limitations of my own creativity, GMing, and stream abilities, I like to create my own one-off streams named Dungeon's Lair, where I GM, produce and completely animate/illustrate the entire 3 hour performance.Using multiple Vtubers which my players use to perform their characters, I am able to create a world where characters lip sync matches to the players, giving a clear indication of who is talking, as well as equipping them with custom animations, some cuts to pre-drawn illustrations for scripted story beats, and a few elements of the stream overlay so the audience can follow along with the game. You can find the playlist of these VODs here.

Anya commissioned me to help out with some of the work for the Tea & Toadstools book. I created this layout and illustrated the hedgehog to demonstrate how the game is played.I provided the artwork for both digital and print, to suit both formats of the book.

Dungeon Tokens reached out for some original art of TTRPG monsters to go on their tokens. I created small illustrations ideal for the small space these tokens inhabit.

Roll For Good is a group of nerdy Europeans who harness the power of TTRPGs to raise money for a variety of different charities. When they formed in 2021, I was part of the initial graphics team and created the video content for the streams, as well as formed their look and feel, brand guidelines, and mascot Sir Birbington.

I was brought on board to complete Hatchlings Games Kickstarter trailer for their TTRPG Overisles. I recieved assets from the artists, prepped them for animation, and edited the video together.
Another Kickstarter for Hatchlings Games, I was tasked to add animated deapth to the illustrator's work.
For this video, I was asked to make the artwork from the TTRPG manual look like a comic book.
Using beautiful 2D illustrations in 3D space, I was able to create a great sense of deapth in this kickstarter video for Arg0.
The creators of Gast were a little unsure of how to add atmosphere to their video with motion. However, with an atmospheric track and some well timed movement, the video adds to the vibes that the artwork create beautifully.
